The Frogs

The Frogs is a novel that portrays rural America at a crucial turning point in history. Not since the Civil War were the roots of the American ideology so deeply divided. This story is a metaphor of the transition that invariably changed a nation. The brutal slaying of a popular President, the involvement in the unpopular conflict of Viet Nam, South East Asia, a drug and music culture which would rise up against the establishment, only to prove that nothing really changes. The little town of Liberty represents the tarnished grandiose dreams of the past, a doomed edifice that must be drowned in a baptism. Yet, destined also to a less than perfect resurrection. Like a ship sunk with all hands, it re-emerges a derelict flushed of past generations to ensnare a new host of dwellers. There are several stories within stories, and many savory characters apparitional in nature, each caught in a shadowy purgatory of his or her past, adding an ephemeral quality to the unfolding of events. The greatest shadow of all being the inevitability of death. Only Westbaily exist in the present. He alone walks by faith, only he sees and is guided by light. Yet, in the eyes of the world, Westbaily is the monster they all fear. Just as the surviving characters at the end of the story are waiting, so do we all. We are all frogs waiting for Westbaily to come. He comes sooner than we think.

Legends from the Mist and Other Told Tales

Legends from the Mist and Other Told Tales is a collection of short stories that weaves the transient with the intransient, places of lights and regions of shadows, dominions of spirits and of angels. It is the first and the last place, where all is lost, only to be found again. From the darkness of these tales springs forth the illuminating experience of the human spirit and human imagination. These are our tales, tales that reflect the less worthy side of humanity, the secret tales that no one talks about. They are legends from the mist whispered from the rich subconscious of our dreams.

The Eighth Estate

Maitreya’s Star, the German Bell flying saucer, alien abduction—what does it all mean? Space born technologies reaching out to the stars, new theories on power helixes to solve a desperate world’s growing need for energy, and the anticipated arrival of inter-dimensional aliens bearing gifts—all possible in the dawning age of Aquarius. The history that we know, the history we have learned through indoctrination, and the history supporting the very pillars of intellectualized institutions of modern reason: knowledge of the Seven Estates rationalized upon precepts of a material universe collapsing into entropy.

However, from the dying worm of this incarnation, a promise written before the world began inscribed in every strand of DNA, an embedded code with extraordinary potential. Here lies the answer to the question of metamorphose posed by Nicodemus to Jesus in the third chapter of John’s gospel “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into hind mother’s womb, and be born?” “Jesus answered, Truly, truly I say to you. Excerpt a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” This is the meaning of times divided by time and the foundation of a new heaven and a new earth.

There exist a God eternal, a being of omnipotent perfection sending a message from outside of time and space to restore lights to the children of men and a measure of transcendence through a begotten progeny conceived in both flesh and spirit: the first truly human, truly God to ascend the elements becoming the very cornerstone of creation and the source code of the Eighth Estate.

Where Water Goes A Living Anthology of Poetry

“I dedicate this book to the patient love and faithful prayers of my friend and mother Jean.”

Poetry has always been in my being from earliest memory. Even as a young child, I would climb into the highest branches and sway with the wind suspended between the immense potential of a star filled heaven and the banal motion of a finite earth. Even then my soul would sing in an unknown language, glorifying the majestic presence connected in every living thing. The first time a written poem touched that part of me was one from a book collection titled Little Drops of Water read to me by my mother. I knew then my true calling in this life.

I have died at least three times in this passage. Once, in innocence, when I was a child. I beheld a world of light and shadow fading darkly, my soul nearer to the beginning then. A second time I died in war and became spiritually dead, my life a shell among the walking dead. Miraculously, I was later revived out of darkness by the grace of God, through Jesus the Messiah, born again by revelation of an extraordinary creation and the good news of salvation. I died yet again in the flesh in later years, drawn irresistibly to a judgment seat on the frontier of eternity, re-resurrected into present time and space for reasons only spiritually divined.

I attended University of California Los Angeles and graduated with degree in Creative Writing, only to learn the mechanics of writing often contradictory to creative style, which runs a course not completely comprehended through academia. Not to say that academia unimportant. It serves as a regulator to a force of potential, but is not the definitive abstraction of the source. Poetry is a spiritual manifestation in natural context, channeled through flesh and blood experience. It is, and is not thought, as defined by reason. It emulates from multiple strings of invisible forces designed on a grand scale of elevation existing outside normal space time eventuality. This is why poetry reflects in the elemental present, and at the same instant elevates immutably transcendent. Contained in this volume are the whispers of poetry listened to and transcribed by the poet, reflections of a source of grander potential than the written word only. I am in humble remembrance that I remain but a messenger in time.

Search of the Perfect Code Discovered Through Science

“As human comprehension expands through examination of the many matrixes that construct perceived reality, a more profound understanding of the quantum construction of a digital universe emerges held together by invisible and indefinable hyper forces. Fundamentally, all energy and matter are the causality aftermath evidence of a singularity event composed of Protons, Electrons, and neutrons orbiting a nucleus. Now science is aware that even these basic building blocks influenced by stringed micro-forces termed Quarks and Flavors originating from a region of subspace as vast as space itself.

Atomic structure, being the elemental building blocks of matter, represents an aftermath product constrained through an embedded code contained in the same energy that precipitated the Big Bang event. The source and measure of that energy emulates from a source beyond time and space. There exist only one unambiguous text throughout the comprehensive genesis of human existence that clearly references the intelligent design and ultimate purpose defining the finite frustration of the human experience. Through this text are glimpses of supernatural incursions manifested within context of historical events. A consciousness of immense value manifested through transcendent agents bearing messages of hope and the eventual salvation of Messiah.

Unconsciously aware, we are all on a historical sojourn through time, space, and spirit. The text we know as the Holy Bible is actually a spiritual code originating from a hyper reality that transcends the laws of causality. Only through the revival of a human soul constrained in mortal passage can this code be deciphered. We are the key to the cipher: a living testimony evidencing the existence of the Perfect Code conceived in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. The meaning of existence discovered through revolution, not evolution.”

The greater challenge of this book has been sorting through a conspiracy of biased data interpretation more than verification of the actual data. It is as though the institutional foundation of academia has rigidly defined parameters of historically acceptable facts, ignoring any evidence that does not fit within the target of measured agreement.

Not only are these several conclusions contrary to my personal experience, but they border on absurdity in the open arena of logical discourse. Therefore, at the risk of sounding foolish to the world of secular thinking and sounding on the fringe to the minds of those most religious, I have endeavored to remain true to my conscience through this intricate process of human analysis. Even though I have explored the reasonable expectations constrained through many subjects of intellectual controversy, I am kept in remembrance there is no greater meaning than love. For by love the worlds are framed.

Liberty Epic of Shadows interweaves shades of the past, present, and future into an actively changing tapestry designed on global scale. What is the connection between a small cotton mill town in post industrial south and the rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire during the dynastic reign of the Spanish Hapsburgs? Who and what is Westbaily? Is he the fiendish thing of everyone’s fear or an angel of deliverance? To the locals, Liberty Swamp is a place laced with unknown dangers, manifesting imagined terror of life’s inevitability, a place and subject better avoided. We are introduced to the famous Adam Pixley, a founding father of a better estate. But is he actually something else more sinister responsible for the ruthless genocide of a tribe of North American Indians remembered vaguely though landmarks and Indian legends of a lost tribe once called Children of Aconee?

This epic properly begins in 1640 with a shipwreck of a Spanish Galleon named

Libertad off the Carolina coast loaded with a cargo of gold and a band of fifteen Indians of Viking descent. More than a century has passed since Cortez pillage the newly discovered Mesoamerica kingdoms beginning with the Aztecs. Part of the cargo manifest of this treasure ship is a demon-possessed South American Shaman captured in the dense rainforest jungles of Brazil and a simple man of God, named Friar Miguel. The Basque Captain, Emmnuel Belasko, a man with Jewish heritage on his mother’s side, will be the physical agent to transport the seeds of a future genesis on a swamp island christened Liberty. A little over a century later, Adam Pixley, a British militiaman deserter, inadvertently finds his way to this swamp island and is accepted as an honorary member of the Aconee tribe. He will learn about a mythical presence the Indians call Xeantee Aconee, representing the tribe’s spiritual beliefs. He will also serve as the catalyst of this culture’s final destruction. Upon discovery of a lost treasure trove of Spanish doubloons hidden in the crypt of an unusual cave, Adam Pixley becomes rich, thus establishing a dynastic Southern linage spanning nearly two centuries to the escalating days of Vietnam War era America in the early 1960s.

The histories presented here are not just about dynasties and wars. It is the human experience woven in a collage of myth and legend. It defines the root cause of violent divisions that continues to plague human society today. This epic explores the consequences of gifts received from the Mammon of this world forged of weaker elements, balanced against the true wealth made of eternal substance provided by the architect of creation in the fullness of every season. In the twilight of his days, David, an anointed king of this earth, blesses the Lord of provision before the twelve tribes of Israel on the steps of Jebus, declared Jerusalem, a city on earth dedicated to a God known to the wandering children of Israel as Yahweh:

“Both riches and honor come of thee, and thou reigns over all; and in your hand is power and might; and in your hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? For all things come from you and of your own have we given thee. For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.” (1Chronicles Chapter 29 Verses 12-15)
